That morning I tried to stay in bed as long as I could, but that wasn't that long because before you know it, my mom rushes in and says, " Hurry, get up, we have to hurry up and get to the air port!" I jump out of bed and get dressed and grab my suitcase and we head out. As we rushed to the air port I thought of something. Instead of thinking about all of the things that I still wanted to do, I thought about all of the things that I had done. Quicker than I thought that smile appeared right back on my face. We boarded the plane and sat down and got ready for take off.

I Started to look through the pictures that I took on the trip on my camera. My smile just got wider and wider. I even had a couple of chuckles in there too. At that moment I realized how grateful I am for my parents. Without them, this trip wouldn't have been possible. I decided to give them something special as well for the holidays. A framed photo of my favorite place in the world, Hawaii!
